PRACTICES FOR SATURDAY. Practices arranged for to-morrow by the Auckland Hockey Association: — Wesley, Remuera No. 5, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Somerville, No. 3, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. University, No. 2, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. St. Luke's, No. 6, 2 p.m. to B p.m. Grammar Old Boys, No. 9, 2 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Mount Eden, No. 0, 3.30 p.m. to 5 p.m. LADIES ON WARPATH. Practice grounds for ladies' hockey on Saturday at Remuera:—Wesley Club, No. 4, at 2 ■ p.m.; Kiwi Club, No. 1, at 2 p.m.; Ngaro Club, No. 7, at 2 p.m.; Technical Club, No. 8, at 2 p.m. SIX FRANKLIN" TEAMS. Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Franklin Ladies' Hockey Association held at Waluku: —Patron, Mr. H. W. Smith; president, Mr. W. C. Clark; vicepresidents, Messrs. G. Swain, C. G. Orr and H T. Peterson; secretary, Mr. H. L. Wassell; executive, Miss Webber and Messrs. V. Horton, EL Smith, H. Hay and A. J. Melville. , . It Is anticipated that there will be sis teams again in this year's competition. Pukekawa is withdrawing, but will be replaced by Te Kohanga. The other teams are Whiriwhiri United, Tuakau, Bnckland, Bombay and Onewhero. Play is to start on May 5.
