KNIFE WOUND.

SERIOUS ASSAULT CHARGE. FATHER AND SON IN COURT. (By Telegrapt.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. A father and son, James William Wilson, a grocer, aged 51, and Lester James Wilson, a clerk, 21, of Buckley's Road, werfe jointly charged in the Police Court this morning with ■ assaulting Christopher Thorne and causing actual bodily harm. The hearing was adjourned to March 15. "What was the nature of the assault?" asked Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M. "It is alleged that one of the accused used a knife, which penetrated Mr. Thome's upper lip," said the senior sergeant. "He was not seriously hurt, but the charge is made serious by the use of the knife."
