BAPTIST EVANGELIST.

The Baptist Men's Fellowship of the Auckland Auxiliary of the Baptist Lnion of New Zealand tendered an official welcome to the Rev. James Worboys, of Australia, at a tea held in the Y.M.C'.A. last evening. Mr. W. Craig, president of the auxiliary, gave the address Of welcome. Mr. Worbovs, in his reply, referred to incidents in his tour through the United States and Canada, and gave it as his opinion that the Church as a whole needed to get together for the creation of a world-wide revival. The Church was out of touch with the masses, and seemed powerless to influence and purify the mighty currents of thought that were sweeping multitudes hither and thither.
