LATE MRS. KANE.

EDUCATION BOARD SYMPATHY Reference to the.death of Mrs. R. L. Kane was made at the meeting of the Auckland Education Board this morning. The chairman, Mr. T. U. Wells, said that Mrs. Kane, formerly Mrs. Banme, was for some years a member of the board. She took a great interest in everything of an educational nature and did good service on the board. The board resolved to express its sympathy to Mrs. Kane's relatives.
