'QUAKE TERROR.
Rumblings and Eruptions in Stricken Bihar. OUTBREAK OF PLAGUE. CALCUTTA, February 22. Earthquakes of varying intensity, with heavy subterranean rumblings, and eruptions of sand and water from fissures, accompanied by cyclonic hailstorms, are terrifying the survivors in the stricken areas of Bihar. Three severe tremors were recorded yesterday at Bonnili, in the Madras presidency and at Dhubri, Northern Bengal. Relief workers in Bihar are faced by an outbreak of plague which already has caused 10 deaths in the Bettiah and Mahnar districts.
