ELECTION OF OFFICERS,

lIANMER SPRINGS, this day. The annual meeting of the Newspaper Proprietors' Association was held to-day, Mr. C. W. Earle presiding.

S. Smith, R. H. Billens, R. W. Roydhouse; paper committe, Sir Cecil Leys, Messrs. W. J. Blundell, A. M. Burns, H. Ilorton, W. C. Wbitlock, W. J. Woods, J. J. H. Page ( rc-electcd). An address on matters eonnceted with railways and ' transport was given by Mr. 11. Sterling, chairman of the Railways Board. Tlio weather is now beautifully fine and warm.
