NEW FASHIONS.
ELIZABETHAN INFLUENCE.
The frocks and .etceteras now being worn at London parties aVe giving the c lue to their, new spring fashions. The Tudor vogue is still rampant, and it now seems to be every woman's ambition to look as much like Queen Elizabeth as possible.
The neckline has been reversed, and is now high at, the back and low in the front. Many women are wearing upstanding collars at the back of their evening dresses. The hair is dressed straight back from the forehead, and haloes, constructed from all sorts of material, including plaited spun glass, tortoiseshell beads and silver tissue, and, of course, brilliants and real crown all types of head.
Earrings must be worn, and as they should be not less than three inches long and at least o coupe of ounces in weight, the proper way to control their swaying motion may become a new and fashionable - accomplishment.
