Australian Workers' Union Vote for Arbitration. SETTLING OF DISPUTES. (Received 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. By a majority of 9695 votes, the members of the Australian Workers' Union throughout Australia voted for the union continuing to favour the policy of arbitration in preference to strikes. The voting was: —For arbitration 13,317, for the strike 3622.
