WARNINGS UNHEEDED.
No Action Taken By Authorities On Stavisky Warnings. REVELATIONS IN COURT. (Received 11 a.m.) PARIS, January 31. A sensation was caused at the hearing of the case against one of Stavisky's companies. Plaintiff's counsel revealed that the public prosecutor's attention was called in 1929 to the company's operations, but no action followed the inquiry. Stavisky's connection was not even mentioned. The police in 1330 pointed out that Stavisky was the real promoter, and insisted that he should be prosecuted, but nothing was done. Despite the prosecutor's request for an adjournment for further information, the court decided to proceed with the hearing.
