In later years Mr. Emery took up tennis and was a member of the Mount Eoskill Club, being president last year. During the Great War he served for three years with the rank of sergeant. The esteem in which Mr. Emery was held was shown by the very large attendance at the service at Hillsboro' Cemetery, and by the large number of floral tributes.
