CYCLING.
AUCKLAND CLUB. The Auckland Cycle Club's raid-weekly events were decided at the Khyber Pass grass track lust evening. The track was in good order, but the boisterous conditions Slowed up the times. Kesults :— One Mile Junior (8 starters).—B. Ilnrvey, 80yds, 1; C. Sneller, 50yds, 2; L. Mitchell, scr, 3; T. lledlund, 185 yds, 4.Time, 2.34 1-5. lledlund held a good lead throughout, but tired in the linal lap and first and second men came fast for Harvey to score by a wheel. Mitchell just headed lledlund on the line. Two Miles Senior (13 starters). —K. Craig, ICOyds, 1; O. Porter, 370 yds, 2; A. Brass, 200 yds, 3 ; J. Whitten, scr, 4. Time, 5.7 1-5. Porter led throughout and looked like winning at the bell. However, Craig and Brass finished fast, and the first-named jubt got up on the line to win by half a wheel third man a wheel away.
