DINNER PARTIES.
A bright dinner party was given by Miss Ron a Anderson, of Grafton, on Saturday evening, when several wellknown tennis players were entertained. The guest of honour was Mr. Charles Donohoe, of Sydney. Beautiful crystal vases of zinnias decorated the dinner table, which was given at the Grand Hotel. The young hostess wore a dove grey pebble crepe, with ornament of brilliants. Among those that dined were: Mrs. Harold Clay, in a gown of black chiffon; Mrs. H. R. Vialoux, in rose pink organdie; Miss Olive Bickcr.ton, black georgette, .scarlet corsage; Miss Nancy Murray, cherry ring velvet. After the dinner Miss Anderson entertained a large number of friends at the Peter Pan Cabaret.
ilrs. Roy Wilson entertained a small number of her friends at a birthday dinner given at the Station Hotel last evening, followed by a picture party. The centre of the table was decorated with a birthday gift', consisting of a beautiful basket of black hothouse grapes and red roses. Among those present were: Mrs. H. E. Vnile, Mrs. Frank Bull, Mrs. C. Lawford, Mrs. B. Dawson, and Mrs. Seville.
