DUEL FOUGHT.
Two Barristers Meet in France. STAVISKY SCANDAL SEQUEL. (licccived 3 p.m.) PARIS, January 25. llhe first of the many threatened duels arising out of the Stavisky scandals was fought this morning. A barrister named Beinex wrote an article in "Lo Midi" on "'Barristers and the Stavisky Scandal." Andre Hesse, a barrister and formerly Stavisky's adviser, considered himself insulted and challenged M. Beinex. They met in a secluded spot and exchanged four sfiots. Neither of the combatants was touched.
