The right of Palestine Potash, Limited, to extract ■salts, of which the aggregate value is estimated at £242,000,000,000, is being contested by a group of capitalists, mainly French. Complications in the case may develop into a question of international interest. Palestine Potash, Limited, has alreadv spent £750,000 on" plant and has laid down 600 acres of pans for evaporisation purposes.
