THE DUCHESS CHOICE.
Mayfair is looking for a new adjective. "Amusing" is quite demoded and "definitely" is now a little too general to be smart, while even the highbrows are wearying of such phrases as "too. too lovely," or "quite, quite beautiful." The Duchess of York uses the word "delicious" of late a good deal, and it is quit© possible that this may be fashionable London's next choice of a catchword. It ifl certainly prettier than ' some ol its jrwadecessors.
