TAURANGA NOTES.

Miss K. B&ker has returned from a holiday spent at the Ninety-Mile Beach. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Blackburn, of Tahua, Morrinsville, are visiting Tauranga, and are the guests of Mrs. W. U. Blackburn, of Otumoetai. Mrs. Earle Knowles is spending a holiday at Masterton. The Rev. and Mrs. Gardiner, who have been spending the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. E. I. Baker, have returned to Waverley. Mrs. J. Lawrence has returned from a motor trip to Whangarei. Mrs. A. Hardy is visiting Rotorua. Mrs. R. McPhail, of Auckland, is spending a holiday in Tauranga as the guest of her mother, Mrs. A. Johnstone. Mrs. Dickerson and her two children, of Karori, Wellington, are spending 'he holidays with Mr. and Mrs. K. Lowe. "Mrs. R. W. Chambers has returned from a trip to Wellington. Miss A. Bradmore is visiting Auckland, and is the guest of Mrs. Clive Johns. Miss J. Steadman, of Whangarei, is staying with Mrs. C. Steedman. Mr. "and Mrs. 0. S. Hintz, of Auckland, are visiting Tauranga, and are staying with Mr. J. E. Greene. Miss Patricia McGlashan, who has been spending the holidays with Mrs. A. Brown, has returned to Hawera. Misses Olive and Dorothy Armitage have returned from a motor trip to Wellington and The Chateau.
