SEAMAN STEAIS SUIT. "Guilty, but I was drunk at the timo," said Michael Leahy (50), a seaman, when he appeared before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday charged with stealing a dress suit valued at £1 15/. Detective-Sergeant McHugh said a boy saw accused take the suit from a shop front in Victoria Street yesterday. Leahy was later arrested with the suit in his possession. He wae under, the influence-of liquor at the time. He had a fair list of previous convictions. After scanning the list, the magistrate sentenced Leahy to one month's imprisonment.
