BRIDGE IN BURMA.
COST MORE THAN £1,000,000. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, January 3. The first bridge over the' Irrawaddy Rivet", Burma, was opened by the Governor, Sir Hugh Stephenson, in the presence of a large gathering. The structure cost more than £liooo,ooo. It is 4000 ft long and was built by British engineering firms.
