AN ITALIAN'S EFFORT. (Received 9.30 a.m.) ROME, January 1. The cyclist Gaioni officially completed his daily ride for 12 months, totalling 08,000 kilometres, or 42,253 miles, averaging 186 kilometres (about 110J miles) per day.
