JUGOSLAV PICNIC.
NEARLY 1000 AT PINE ISLAND RESULTS OF THE SPORTS. ' Nearly a thousand people took part in the annual picnic of the .Auckland Jugoslav Club (Inc.) at Pine Island on Sunday, ninny of the members having come hundreds of miles for the event. The orchestra of the cllib provided national music on the boat and at the island. A varied sports programme was held in the afternoon, one of the most interesting events being a race for Jugoslav boys, the Simicli Cup, which was won tor the third time by T. Marinovicli, who therefore retains the trophy.

An exhibition of Iboxing was given by J. Jurie and E. Broich; wrestling by j. Krizanich and C. Xola, and physical culture by J. Krizanich.
