"FAIR TO FINE"
TO-DAY'S WEATHER FORECAST (By Telegraph.—Press, Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Pressure is rather low over New Zealand generally, and especially to the eastward, while a westerly depression coming from the Tasman" Sea is ju*t commencing to cross the southern portion of the South Island. The forecast is for moderate winds, variable at first but again freshening from the> south within 24 hours. The weather should be mainly fair to fine, but some scattered showers are likely. Temperatures will be cooler to-morrow. Seas moderate, but rising somewhat to-morrow.
