AUCKLAND TROTS.
PRESIDENT'S TO KEWPIE'S GUY. MOUNTAIN SUN SHINES IN TAMAKI. WILLIE DERBY AND ANITA FAME VICTORIOUS The Auckland Trotting Club's summer carnival is terminating in fine weather, before a fair attendance. The track is again in splendid condition. Golden Eagle ran her third consecutive second place at the meeting, when Mountain Sun, at long odds, beat the favourite in the Tamaki Handicap. Anita Fame, who ran third yesterday, improved on that showing by taking the Park Handicap from Jester and Kia Kaha. Old Jewel Pointer again ran well when he finished second to Kewpie's Guy in the President's Handicap, in which Kewpie's Triumph was third. Willie Derby (coupled with Hohoro) and Pukemiro paid the dividends in the, New Year Handicap.
