CHILDREN'S PARTY.

A Christmas party was held at the Gaie.ty Hall, Surrey Crescent, on Thursday afternoon last for the children of the Unemployed Workers' Association, Grey Lynn women's section. Mrs. Anderson (president) introduced Mrs. Martin, J.P., who opened the party, and over 130 children, with parents and friends, were present. Father Christmas distributed the toys and sweets from a heavily-laden Christmas tree, and with paper hats and novelties the children had , a thoroughly happy , time.
