STRUCK BY TAXI.
Knocked clown by a taxi cab at the corner of Gundry Street and Karangahape Road last' night, an elderly widow, Mrs. C'hawker, of 7, Ponsonby Road, was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. She suffered concussion, but her condition is not regarded as serious.
