STRUCK BY CAR.

i YOUNG BOY INJURED. i Alfred James, aged 4J years, whose parents live at 117, Church Street, Onehunga, was struck by a motor car near his home yesterday afternoon. He was playing with two other boys near the : edge of the footpath and rah into the ! road. The'driver of the car "was Mr. W. Sweeney, of Wiri, who was going towards Te Papapa. He said that he ' had no opportunity to avoid the boy. ' Dr. Kirkwood attended the boy, and 1 ordered him to be sent to the Auckland Hospital. Hie condition is not ' regarded as serious.
