The following information has been cabled ! to the London office of the Waiui Gold Min- 1 ing Company, Limited:— ( No. 3 Level.—North branch of Martha , lode: At 118 ft west we have crosscut to the north 47ft and to the sout'j 25ft, in country ' rock. Cross-cutting is stopped. No. 4 Level.—Martha lode, north branch: Driving east the next 28ft assays 38/3 a ton. The lode is about 2ft wide. No. 5 Level.—North branch, Martha lode: Driving west the next 20ft is ore of good grade. The lode is about lift wide. Martha lode: Driving west the next 20ft assavs 30/3 a ton, and the next 14ft 7,/9 a ton. We are now cross-cutting to the north at 350 ft. No. 12 Level.—Royal lode: Driving east the next 26ft assays 7/6 a ton. Grand Junction. No. 0 Level.—The southeast crosscut at 70ft west was stopped at 73ft in. and we have now commenced driving west on the lode cut at 20ft in.
