A PRAYER.
O Thou wbo art the hearer of prayer, we bow before Thee, assuring our hearts by Thy comforting promises that Thou wilt not reject our homage, nor despise our prayers. Grant tis Thy mercy in Christ, and, for His sake, pardon our sins and failures. May we eee in the light of His life the evil in our own 'lives, and, guided by His Spirit, follow in His stops, and successfully resist tho temptations that meet us. Amen. j
