German Raider's Nameplate

PRESENTATION AT CALCUTTA. (Received 1 p.m.) CALCUTTA, December 7. The Commissioner of Police of Calcutta, as a friendly gesture, presented Baron Enderndorf, commander of the German cruiser Karlsruhe, now in Calcutta, with the nameplate of the Kocnig, the German war-time raider which was sunk at Dar-es-Salaam by the cruiser Southampton. The nameplate was unscrewed and Tjrouglit to Calcutta by a petty, officer and left at police quarters. Baron Enderndorf deeply appreciated the gift.
