LOANS CONVERSION.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Wednesday. The Local Government Loans Board has approved of the Franklin Electrie Power Board's loans conversion scheme, in which certain adjustments were specified, the chief of which was the exclusion of a £5000 loan at 4J per cent from the conversion issue. This would reduce the term of the conversion loan from 32 years to 29J years without any additional annual charges.
