MOTOR CYCLE-LORRY MISHAP. LAST CHAXCE OF AVOIDING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) XAPIER, this day. Mr. Justice Ostler to-day set aside : the verdict of the jury awarding Lily , May White £500' against William Henry Moody, arising out of the death !of the former's son. Deceased was | riding a motor cycle when he struck an unlighted lorry on the main road and was killed, hence the action. The jury's decision was upset by the judge, who held that the last chance j of avoiding the accident was held by the I deceased, who had apparently failed to keep a proper look-out.
