ABATTOIR STRIKE.
Workers Resent Basic Wage Reduction. ACTION IN SYDNEY. (Received 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Employees at the Homebush abattoirs have declared a strike as the result of the decision of the employers to enforce the 2/ a week reduction in the basic wage. Unless the men resume ,on Monday the live stock market will be seriously dislocated.
