E. M. EDGAR, :9 Secretary. SCHOLARSHIPS. TJAWLINGS SCHOLARSHIP. The Trustees under the Will of the late Humphrey Rawlings offer two Scholarships for competition in December next. The Scholarships are tenable for three years, commencing from the first term in the year 1934 and consist of free tuition at the Auckland Grammar School. A maintenance allowance of £10 per annum, payable quarterly, will also be advanced to each scholar. Only boys under the age of twelve years on December Ist next, attending one of the public common schools of the Provincial District of Auckland, and the sons of poor parents, will he eligible for the Scholarship. Applications containing the names and addresses of applicants must be sent not later than Ist December next to the Trustees, by whom due notice of the time and place of examination will be given.
