THE FUNNIEST THING.
"Children," said the schoolmistress to her class of young hopefuls, "I want you all to write an essay on 'The Funniest Thing I Ever Saw.'" Oae small boy finished very quickly, and the teacher demanded to see his effort first. All the boy had written was: "The funniest thing I ever eaw was too funny for words."
