LATEST FROM SMITHFIELD. THE BANK'S REPORT. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business this week:— Wethers: The market is quiet but firm. Ewes: The market is steady and no material change is expected yet. Lambs: The market is rather easier. Wethers, light, 4d to 5d per lb; heavy, 3V4d to 3%d; ewes, 3d to 3%d; lambs, twos, 7%d to 7%d; eights, 7d to IVid; fours, 6V&d to 6%d; seconds, 67-id to 7d.
