ABOUT MASTER REYNARD.

Master Reynard, who is to race at the New Zealand Cup meeting, is a.two-year-old chestnut colt by Hunting Song from the imported Bayardo mare Bayonne, so that he is a half-brother to I'm Alone, Lucky One, Murchison and Sir Leighton. He is owned by Mr. J. M. Robertson, of Westport, who bought his dam with foal at foot by Leighton (Sir Leighton) and in foal to Hunting Song for 140gs at the Stead dispersal sale in 1931.
