PENWOMEN'S CLUB.
The annual exhibition' of the work of the arts and crafts section was held in the rooms of the Penwomen's Club on Friday afternoon and evening. A large number of members and friends viewed and appreciated the quality of the exhibits, for which there was a ready sale. Aiiioirg the stall holders were: Mrs. Tonkin, Mrs. Eyburn, Miss E. Melville, Miss Melville, Mrs. CarteLloyd, Mrs. Hudson, Mrs. Turnbull, Miss Briar Gardner, Mrs. Eyburn, Mrs. Tonkin and Mrs. Sturgess. Mrs. CarrEollett, president, opened the exhibition, and afternoon tea was served. Miss Coote played incidental music. Mrs. H. King gave an original song, the words by Miss Edell Jones, entitled "The Flute Across the Water." Mrs. Richards sang another composition by Miss Jones, an, English folk song. j
