POINT CHEVALIER FIRE.
The city and Ponsonby Brigades turned out at 1.12 this morning to deal with a fire which occurred at the house of Mr. L. G. Gregory, 511, Point Chevalier Road, Point Chevalier. Two rooms were gutted, while the rest of the house was slightly damaged by smoke. The house was insured in the South British Office for £500.
