"BUNNY" ABBOTT.

1905 ALL BLACK IN AUCKLAND. H. L. Abbott, the old Taranaki threequarter, who was a member of the famous 1905 All Blacks which won all its games in the United Kingdom except the Welsh international, is in Auckland for the races. "Bunny" was one of the fastest men who ever played Rugby in the Dominion. He is farming these days at Waipukiirau, Hawke's Bay. Three of his Auckland comrades of 28 years ago have passed away (Bill Cunningham, Dave Gallaher and Bill Mackrell), but Abbott hopes to see George Tyler, Geo. Gillett and George Nicholson while in this city. The other two Aucklanders, Charlie Seeling and Geo. Smith, live in England, at Wigan and Oldham respectively.
