TAIHOA HERDS.

MANGA WHERO GROUP TOTALS

The August returns of the New Zealand Herd Testing Association show that the .Mangawhero group, with 685 cows tested, was the second highest group in the whole of the association's territory. The first place is held by Te Puninga with 388 cows. There were 48,828 cows tested in August. A close scrutiny of these figures makes the Mangawhero group, stand out more clearly. Mangawhero is the newest group formed in the Matamata area. It is only three years since its inception and its territory is very limited, as it . comprises only the Mangawhero Mock (or better known as Taihoa).
