DERMID SPRINTS FAST,
(Kcceiveil 1.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. At Flemingtou on the course proper Nord (J. Parr) and Topical (J. O'Sullivan) ran a mile and a half, the last nine furlongs in 2.3, and the last seven furlongs in 1.33. Mimicker and Tyrium did twelve furlongs in 2.45% and Pretzel (R. Carter) eleven in 2.28%, the last four in 535. Regal Son and Mince Pie ran nine furlongs in 2.0%, the first mile in 1.47%. Oro (K. Bracken) did ten furlongs in 2.28, the last four in 51%5. Palphar (A. Beasley) and Shadow King ran a mile in 1.47%, the first four furlongs taking 51%5. Eastern Star (G. Wennan) did ten furlongs in 2.13%, the first mile in 1.46. Protea covered a mile in 1.51. Tadema (G. deary) sprinted five furlongs in 1.5. Dermid (M. McCartcn) ran the best five furlongs, taking 1.3, the first two in 25s and four in 50s. Angelo (P. Kelly) ran four furlongs in 50%5. Alinura (J. Hopwood) did the best four furlongs, taking 49%5. Turbine (J. King) sprinted four furlongs in 51%5. Carefree (J. O'Sullivan) covered seven furlongs in 1.32%, the last six in 1.19%, and Bold Boy strode over seven furlongs in 1.41. On the tan Dawnlight (F. Caneanod) ran six furlongs in J .1794. Petau (H. Moran) and Trivonto (K. Lewis) did six furlongs in 1.17%. Metallurgy (H. Moran) traversed a mile in 1.47%. Danjlo completed ten furlongs in 2.17 and Chatham (B. Walker) ran five furlongs in 1.4%, the first four in 50%5.
