AUSTRALIANS DEPART.

QUIST AND TUIINBULL FOR HOME

After a torn - of the principal towns of New Zealand, excepting Auckland, the remaining members of the Australian Davis Cup team were due to leave for home by the Monowai, sailing for Sydney this afternoon. They were Adrian Quist and Don Turnbull. The other two players, the singles competitors, Jack Crawford and Vivian McUrath, played at Stanley Street while passing through from America 011 Octobcr 6. The modesty of the Australians is proverbial. and they arrived at Auckland from Hawke's Bay, via llotorua, practically unannounced, last night. Even at that late hour, although they were to stay with friends, Mr. Percy Harrison, president of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, met them and made various arrangements for their entertainment today.
