MEN TAKE THEIR WIVES' JOBS. HAMBURG, November 1. One hundred newly married men have been engaged by the proprietors of a cigarette factory to replace the girls who have just become their wives. The change is due to the £40 premium the firm is giving to girl workers who marry.
