DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS.
PORTER'S APPLICATION.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHUR CH, this day. Judgment was reserved in a case wliich was heard in the Supreme Cour'j before Mr. Justice Reed in wliich the Solicitor-General intervened in the granting of a decree absolute in divorce proceedings brought by Charles Hector Hopkins, a porter, of Springfield. In answer to tho- judge, counsel said the Solicitor-General had taken action after receipt of a letter from the respondent in which allegations were made that misconduct had been committed before the decree nisi proceedings.
