A meeting of the A.S.R.S., Newmarket branch, carried a motion protesting at the threatened cancellation of Ivan Tomasovic's naturalisation papers on the charge of being disloyal. It expressed the opinion that as the charge was based on the fact that the man was a member of a legal political party, which was allowed to contest municipal and Government elections, a grave injustice would be done by cancelling Ms naturalisation papers.
