ELECTION APPEAL.
Baldwin Asks Support for Peace Policy. SKIPTON CAMPAIGN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 30. In a message addressed to the Conservative candidate in the by-election proceeding in the Skipton division of Yorkshire, Mr. Stanley Baldwin reiterated the Government's deep interest in the cause of disarmament. He said: "The whole country, irrespective of party, is solidly united in favour of peace and disarmament by international agreement. The British Government has been striving to achieve it, and there never was a time when it was more necessary for the people to give the Government their support oil this issue."
