ITALY OBJECTS
BRITISH AIR SERVICES. (Received 1 p.n») . LONDON, October 30. Sir Eric Geddes, chairman of Imperial Airways, Ltd., has explained that passengers are at present taken by rail from Paris to Brindisi owing to political objections against the Imperial Airways service operating from France to Italy along the Mediterranean Coast. Sir Eric was hopeful that the objections, which formerly prevented Italy from permitting operation on this route, will shortly be removed. AIR ACE KILLED. CRASH IN FAMOUS 'PLANE. (Received 1.30 p.m.) PARIS, October 30. The French air ace, Deverneuilh, who accompanied the Minister of Air, M. Cot, to Russia, was killed in a crash at Blaisyhaut with a mechanic and a wiretegs operator in the famous 'plane Biarritz, in which he flew to New Caledonia in 1932.
