Minister Attacks Basic Wage Figure. TILT AT FEDERAL M.P.'S. (Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. In a speech at Randwick, the Minister of Labour and Industry, Mr. Dunningham, said that he did not consider £3 G/6 was an adequate wage for a man, his wife and family. "The State Government has not* yet reached the fortunate position when we can consider raising our own salaries," he said, hinting at the Federal Parliament action, '"but I hope, when we do reach that position, we will be a little more considerate." i
