SECOND ANNUAL MEETING, Last evening the second annual meeting of the Auckland Amateur Cycling Centre was held at the Y.M.C.A.,: when delegates from the Auckland, Papatoetoe, lakar puna, Lynndale and Manukau Clubs were in attendance. . • Officials for the ensuing season elected: — President, Mr. H. C. Webster; secretary, Mr. P. F. E. Price; treasurer, Mr. L. Wilson; referee, Mr'.' H. C. Webster; handicapper and starter, Mr. J- l>. Auckrani; machine inspector, Mr. F. J. Casey; chief judge, Mr. B. Mudford; delegate to New Zealand Cycling Council, Mr. Roy Evans, of Wellington; delegates to Auckland Centre of Amateur Athletic and Cycling Association, Messrs. H. C. Webster and H. G. Wheatley; timekeepers, Messrs. E. T. King, H. G. Wheatley and L. Wilson; race secretary, Mr. L. Wilson; marksman, Mr. F. J.. Casey. It was decided to conduct the clubs teams' championship event on the third Saturday in July of next year, and also the junior road championship pn the same date, and the 100 miles provincial championship on the first Saturday of October. It was proposed to conduct open track races each month, and to accept entries within five days of the events. The first races will be held next Saturday at_ the Papatoetoe Stadium, for which all riders will be handicapped. The events will be an open two miles handicap, and a special event for riders who have never raced in. open events on a banked track. The races will commence at 2.30 p.m. The Papatoetoe Club was granted permission for a sports meeting on the Papatoetoe Stadium on Saturday, December 2. The entry forms of all the 13 placed riders in the 100 miles championship were approved. Championship honours m the event were won by A»- G. Patrick, yrbo clocked sk<snt 83a. "• ' '
