PERRY HAS HIS REVENGE. MALFROY IS OUTCLASSED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday.: Exhibition matches between F. J. Perry and F. H. D. Wilde (Britain) and R. MoL. Ferkins and C. E. Malfroy (Wellington) were played to-day in windy weather. The Englishmen won the three matches played with ease. Perry outclassed Malfroy in all departlients. His low cross-court volleying and smashes left Malfroy helpless. Ferkins made the mistake of concentrating on Wilde's backhand. On this Wilde outplaced and outdrove Ferkius. In. the doubles between Perry and Wilde and Malfroy and Ferkins, Malfroy did not appear to try, and Ferkins by hard fighting saved the match from being a procession. The results were:—Perry beat Malfroy 6—l, 6—l; '\Vilde beat Ferkins, 6—3, 6—o; Perry and Wilde beat Malfroy and Ferkins, 6—4, 6—2. AUSTRALIANS TOO GOOD. WILSON AND. DON FRANCE FAIL. HASTINGS, Monday. Tennis of the very highest class wae seen at times in exhibition games played on the Hastings Club's courts this afternoon between the two Australian Davis Cup representatives, A. K. Quist and D. P. Turnbull, and the New Zealandere, D. G. France and N. R. C. Wilson.
