RIFLE SHOOTING.

MATAMATA CLUB. The Matamata Kifle Club held two shoots during the week-end. On Saturday the competition was 10 shots each over 20t> yards and 300 yards. On Monday seven shots each were fired at 500 yards and 10 shrots at 600 yards. The leading scores were:—H. K. King, 47 at 200 yards, 44 at 300 yards, total 01; \V. M. Griffiths, 43, 44—87; C. J.
